About Bundeena

Bundeena is found in the North-East corner of the Royal National Park, on the Southern edge of Port Hacking. It is a perfect place to spend a quiet day away from the city of Sydney, as it is only a 20 minute ferry ride from Cronulla.

Jump onboard the small ferry at Cronulla and enjoy the views as you cruise over to Bundeena, or head South on the Princes Highway and in through the town of Loftus. However you get there, it'll be worth it. Bundeena is a small community within a national park that is based around the waterfront, with beautiful views in all directions.

Bundeena Included is a section on Stanwell Park (incorporating Otford, Helensburgh and Stanwell Tops), a wonderful area just south of the Royal National Park with much in common with Bundeena. Much of the information included here is found in the Northern Illawarra Visitors Guide which can be picked up in the Northern Illawarra and at various tourist offices around the state.

Bundeena now has it's own market. Co-inciding with the Art Trail, Bundeena's Markets by the Sea on Horderns Reserve is where you can pick up a bargain and stop and chat with the locals on the first Sunday of the month.

We can do many things in Bundeena.

There are some great hotels in Bundeena. We suggest Bundeena Bowling & Sports Club Co-operative Limited and Bundeena RSL Memorial Club Limited.

There are some great sports and adventure activities to participate in. We suggest Fishing - Bonnie Vale, Jibbon and Horderns beaches, Bundeena Tennis Courts and Bundeena Sea Kayaks.

Good food and good wine are part of life's necessities, therefore don't leave without trying some (or all!) of these places. We suggest Bundeena Bowling Club Bistro, The Fringe, Cafe Manna, Club Bundee, RSL Chinese Restaurant, The Fish Exchange, Mayne Cookhouse and Passionfruit Cafe.
